Advent Evening Prayer
Advent Evening Prayer
With Deacon Bill and Mary Ann Newhouse
Advent is a time of penance and prayer as we prepare for the coming of the Christ child on Christmas Day. It should be a time of calm reflection, but in reality, it is anything but. In order to find some time to prepare our hearts for the coming of the promised Savior; Deacon Bill Newhouse invites you into his home, via
Facebook
, to pray Evening Prayer with him and his wife, Mary Ann. They will be praying Evening Prayer beginning December 17 through December 23 each evening at 6:30 PM. During this time, we will be praying the "O" Antiphons, an Advent tradition dating back to the eighth century.
