Funeral Planning Guide

A Message to Our Families
We understand that if you have recently experienced the death of a loved one, you may be feeling confused, sad, lonely, or even overwhelmed by your loss. We offer you comfort and a certain hope. For it is our Catholic belief that at death, life is changed, not ended. We live in hope that our loved ones will share fully in eternal life.

Some time after you leave the funeral home, please reach out to Mrs. Bernadette Dixon, our funeral coordinator. She will be your main point of contact and will assist you in planning the funeral liturgy.
There are a few things you must consider (listed below) and she can help you with these decisions.

Music selections for the liturgy (Three selections)
Placing the pall on the casket (Yes or No)
Allow the church to handle all the planning

A Note From Bernadette Dixon

Please feel free to call me at anytime from when you leave the Funeral Home until (and after) the time of the Funeral Liturgy. I will be your main contact for anything you need from our parishes. It is my humble honor to serve you and your family during this difficult time, so please do not hesitate to call on me for any need.

Because of the time involved in preparing for the funeral liturgy, please try to select music as soon as you are able to do so. After I obtain the musical selections from you, and the names of any family members who may be involved with the placing of the pall, I will share this information with all involved parties. Be assured of my prayers during the coming days.
