Youth Ministry
Our parish communities of Sacred Heart and Ascension are gearing up to begin our Youth Ministry season for 2022-23. Our team looks forward to the opportunities to walk alongside you and your family as we begin this new year of ministry together.
Who’s Eligible for Youth Ministry?
Youth Ministry gathers together young teens in middle school and high school; those in sixth through twelfth grade. Youth Ministry always includes our students who attend a Catholic School.
Our goal is to journey with our young church one evening per month to unpack and unfold the beauty of The Mass, the source and summit of our faith. These nights include prayer, lessons, fun activities, small group discussions, and interactive opportunities to build community.
Sessions take place the first Wednesday of the month at Sacred Heart Church and School. The evening begins at 6:30 PM and concludes at 8:00 PM. The full list of dates can be found below.
How Do I Register My Teen?
Registration for Youth Ministry for the parishes of Sacred Heart and Ascension for the 2022-23 school year is now open. Registration is required. There is no fee to register. The deadline to register is Friday, September 2, 2022.
First Things First
Complete the Family Registration Form that was mailed to your home or print a copy and return it to Sacred Heart Parish c/o Elisa Esasky, 504 Cowan Avenue, Jeannette, 15644, or scan a copy and email it to [email protected].
Do Not Forget
Please be sure your form is turned in no later than Friday, September 2, 2022. You can mail it to the Parish Office, Attn: Elisa Esasky, 504 Cowan Avenue, Jeannette, 15644; drop it in the collection basket during a weekend liturgy or deliver it in person to the Parish Office.
